Minten&González & The Arem Experience

MINTEN&GONZÁLEZ. This duo is an electro-acoustic encounter between the musical worlds of Luz Gonzalez and Rebecca Minten. Their sound research revolves around the creation of an electronic instrument specially designed to establish a dialogue with the clarinet (bass) and the contemporary style of playing. This precise and constantly evolving programming allows the two musicians to interact in the shared world they have created for themselves. The resulting compositions are never finished products but emerge from long sessions of improvisation to form, most of the time, open and/or graphic scores.

AREM expresses the musical vision of Ramon Bischoff, seamlessly blending influences from krautrock, free jazz, ambient, microtonal drone music, hip-hop, and electronica. In contrast to this solitary process, the live adaption THE AREM EXPERIENCE is highly dynamic and collaborative. It brings together musicians and performance artists, forming an ever-evolving lineup that engages in free, improvisational interplay, using the recorded music as an aesthetic foundation and compass for musical navigation.
